Proud parents and grandparents gathered in the commons on Monday, October 18, for the induction of new National Honors Society members. The ceremony included 66 inductees.

Mr. Larry Snyder was the speaker of the night, followed by four students who spoke about the four pillars of the National Honors Society: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. 

Dr. Sefrit, head of upper school, presented the inductees, and Mr. Mohler, upper school math teacher, gave the new members cards with the student’s name and a pin attached.

“There were a lot of inductees.  We walked across the front and shook Mohler and Sefrit’s hands.  They gave us cool pins and we got cupcakes afterwards,” said Annie Rebbe, sophomore.

After the ceremony, there was a short reception with cupcakes and drinks.
