Coach Ribble instructs the team before shoot around.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Well, I don’t get much free time, but when I do I love hanging out with family and friends, and I love to read and watch sports.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to play in the NBA. I had a deep passion for basketball and it is such a great game to play but unfortunately, dreams don’t always come true!

What comes with being a coach?
Coaching is really just teaching and parenting. It can be frustrating but can also be rewarding since it is about the team and players.

Why are you a health teacher?
Honestly, I am a health teacher because the school asked me to be, I am very blessed to be a PE teacher with the staff I have around me. I was a college coach before this and didn’t teach until I came to Westminster.

What do you hope your athletes take away from their experience in playing for you?
I hope they learn valuable life lessons and are equipped to be ambassadors of Christ. I want my athletes to be impacted not just for basketball but for everyday life.
