WCA Indoor Soccer

Now that soccer season is over, and the cold season has begun, WCA students are taking their talents to Vetta Manchester to play in indoor soccer.

I, alone, am on two different teams this session. One is coed with all WCA students, while the other is all guys with students from WCA and different schools.

There are several squads that consist of WCA students who are involved in indoor soccer leagues. The leagues offered by Vetta provide a way to bond, and share a few laughs with some of your friends. Typically, games are on Friday or Saturday nights, which can help students stay away from unhealthy temptations because they are busy playing soccer with friends. “Honestly, indoor soccer is one of my favorite things. It’s fun to joke around but also compete with my friends in my favorite sport. I love juking out some young bloods”, said AJ Loyd.

Other than juking out other players, the indoor game of soccer allows players to create unique and witty uniforms and team names. The refs keep the game in check, and offer a safe environment for players.

The season has started, so come out and watch your fellow WCA students compete around the city!
