St. Louis Gains A BBQ Gem

Dalie’s Smokehouse offers a variety of BBQ options that will satisfy even the pickiest eater.

BBQ are three letters that St. Louisans take pride in due to our well-known restaurants. Pappy’s Smokehouse and Bogart’s Smokehouse downtown are two of the most popular BBQ restaurants in downtown St. Louis. Now, the two well-established diners have a sister restaurant in Westminster’s backyard, Dalie’s Smokehouse.

The restaurant features industrial decor, which perfectly accompanies the smell of barbeque smoke that lingers in the air. The menu offers many of the classic items from Pappy’s and Bogart’s that are loved by many, such as sugar-covered sweet potato fries, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and pulled pork. Dalie’s is known for the BBQ Nachos which has Billy Goat Kicker chips, pulled pork, and pepper jack cheese. Although a strange combination, the BBQ Nachos is a fan favorite.

To accompany their outstanding menu, Dalie’s has an assortment of original sauces on each table to allow customers to try each unique flavor with their meal. Whether the visitor tries Voodoo which is a spicy, semi-sweet sauce or Cranberry Cayenne which is a fruity sweet sauce with a kick of heat, the assortment will satisfy all.

Dalie’s Smokehouse seems to always be busy. Around 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., the line will be out of the door for everyone to get their BBQ fix. Located on the corner of Big Bend and Dougherty Ferry, Dalie’s Smokehouse is a go-to spot for BBQ lovers.Dalie's Food
