It was a night filled with emotions and high-stakes basketball as the Cats took on MICDS in a thrilling senior night showdown. The atmosphere was electric as fans packed the stands to honor the graduating seniors and cheer on their teams.The boys basketball team set the tone for the night with an intense battle against MICDS. The game was neck-and-neck, with both teams battling back and forth to take home the victory. The night was to represent seniors like Colby Alpert, Asher Amanuel, Isaac Boss, and Devin Coulter. Their teammates fought hard throughout the game to make the night special. In the end, the Wildcats emerged victorious with a final score of 58-50. The crowd brought the energy` in cheers as the seniors celebrated a memorable senior night with a well-deserved win.

On the other side, the girls’ basketball team faced a tough challenge against MICDS. The game was closely contested, with Emma Ballew, Mia Scheulen, and their teammates giving it their all. Despite the hard work effort, the Wildcats fell short, losing 48-42. The seniors showcased their resilience and sportsmanship, leaving everything on the court in their final regular-season game.As the seniors were recognized for their dedication and contributions, the crowd showered them with applause. Colby Alpert, Asher Amanuel, Isaac Boss, Devin Coulter, Emma Ballew, and Mia Scheulen were honored for their leadership and commitment to the Wildcats’ basketball program.

With districts on the horizon, both teams are gearing up for the next challenge. The girls team will have a chance at redemption as they face MICDS again on Monday. The boys team, fresh off their senior night victory, will take on Parkway Central on Thursday. The Wildcats are ready to carry the momentum from senior night into the postseason, aiming for success in the upcoming district games.
