The Class of 2021 performs boys poms during Spirit Week last year.

Today, January 27th, begins the rich Westminster tradition of Spirit Week. Dress-down days, Lip Sync, Boys Poms, Hallways, and much more all goes into making the week fun and special. However, the games remain some of the most highly anticipated of the festivities.

As the class of 2021 approaches their junior year, they are prepared to physically dominate the rest of the school. They have been tried and tested over the years only to grow stronger, faster, more explosive, and more fierce. The junior class will stop at nothing until they win their team to victory in Dodgeball, Tag Royale, and the Chariot Relay today.

First, 4 junior boys and 4 junior girls will team up to destroy the rest of the school. On the boys side, elite baseball players Will Mueller, Landen Johnson, Adam Ebling, and Nick Moten will use their exceptional throwing velocity to snipe the competition with fastballs. Also, on the girls side, the athletic ability of Grace Clement, Nicki Mabry, Becca Chimento, and Gracie Wessels will help the juniors come out on top. Especially, Mabry’s strong softball arm will be great assistance to the team. Simply, the senior class won’t know what is coming.

Second, competing in the Tag Royale for the junior class are athletes, Isaiah Thompson, Ja’Cobe Moore, Caylin Doering and Madi Waashington. Thompson, track star, has speed will be hard to match. The other competitors should not be overlooked. Ja’Cobe may not run track, but is unbelievably fast. Caylin is small but very quick on her feet, and Madi Washington uses her height to be faster than her compition. This team of speed will definitely challenge the seniors.

Third, the junior class’ Chariot Relay line up is looking hard to beat. They have chosen the four strongest and fastest boys of their class; Hugh Muschany, Max Kramer, Jack Straub and Adam Ebling. Matched with these boys are the smallest, most petite girls from the junior class. With these athletic power houses pulling the smallest girls in the school, the juniors will be hard to beat in the Chariot Relay.

After some weak spirit weeks, the junior class is hyped up on spirit and read to dominate games today.
