Quarterback Lane Davis barks orders to his linemen in a game against MICDS.

Dearest Westminster,

The men hailing from 800 Maryville Centre Drive have one last chance to defend our home before the brutal winter arrives. For most of our men, it will be the last time they step foot on our battlefield.

The attack comes from far, far away in the fabled lands of O’Fallon. They will be angry after a loss last weekend at Camp Duchesne. This is a big battle for each army for playoff seeding implications, as there are only two weeks remaining in the regular season. Camp Christian has emerged victorious in four of their seven battles.

We need to defeat the Eagles to get hot on the field as the weather around us gets colder. If we continue to scuffle, an end to our campaign may be here sooner rather than later. I do not wish this upon the great men and women in the Camp Westminster community.

Capt. Davis will have to get on the same page with Capt. Hicks, Capt. Parres, Capt. Straub, and Capt. Minner for any chance of success. We must limit the dumb mistakes and fight a much cleaner battle than the previous one.

So now I say to you, Westminster, the Christian High Eagles think they can cross the great Missouri River and take our home. On Saturday, we will take a stand and we will not be denied. Our home demands respect and defense. The Wildcat spirit is one that never dies no matter the adversity. Times are tough, but now, more than ever, it is time to take up arms and head to the battlefield at 1300 hours. Fight with passion, fight with honor, and fight with ferocity.

With love,

800 Sporting
