A new position and a new faculty member has been added to the Westminster repertoire. Lisa Rupprecht, WCA parent, has been appointed as the Coordinator for Parent Community Relations, a new position tailored specifically to the parents of Westminster

“I support the parent led events at Westminster.  When there is an event (Ladies Advent, Taste of Westminster, Wildcat Pride Night, etc…) I meet with the parents and help support them for a successful event,” said Rupprecht.

This position dedicated in particular to parent-related events includes parent meetings, the Ladies Advent on December 6, and Taste of Westminster.

“Taste of Westminster allows the opportunity to feature various restaurants from within our community, while providing great meals for the families, staff and students during Spirit Week,” said Rupprecht.

This new job is the partner of the new head of staff for faculty-led events, such as Orientation, IGNite, and Art à la Carte, now run by Sarah Holley. Rupprecht, on the other hand, gets to work and to help parents explicitly in all kinds of events.

“I hope that I can encourage parents to find a way to serve at Westminster that is a blessing to them and those around them. I want them to realize that every parent in our community is helping shape our students as future leaders, teachers, or missionaries who will soon be going out into the world to change it for Jesus Christ,” said Rupprecht.
