Adam Levine Comes to St. Louis

Summer is the perfect time to sit back and relax at a concert. This summer was full of great music, and a lot of tours visited St. Louis. One of the most memorable was the Honda Civic Tour with Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5. St. Louis was the first stop of the tour.

This concert took place August 1 at the Verizon Amphitheater. Whether you were sitting in the front row or the back, it was an amazing experience. Kelly Clarkson started the show off well, and sang her new single ‘Tie It Up’ along with ‘People Like Us’ and several of her other songs. Clarkson was fun to watch, and her performance lasted around an hour. The show went from good to spectacular went Maroon 5 came on. The band’s whole performance was around two hours, and there were little to no breaks.

Adam Levine did not skip a beat. His stage presence and perfect pitch kept all eyes on him. Maroon 5 made sure to play songs everyone knows, which kept the audience thoroughly entertained. Although the lights were obnoxiously bright, not even they could take away from the performance. Behind the band there was a screen that displayed different videos and special effects. The videos added a more dramatic edge to the night, and the screen constantly displayed a close up shot of Adam’s face. The band’s top hits were played including ‘Daylight’, ‘Payphone’, ‘Sunday Morning’, and ‘This Love’. The concert was sold out, and Maroon 5’s awe-worthy concert was a great start to the Honda Civic Tour.

The Honda Civic Tour will continue for the rest of the summer and into the beginning of the fall. The tour goes all over the United States.
